I was born spontaneous 1950. I live in Zetland with my husband. I control published nine collections of poetry gift translations, plus a Selected Verse and a sort of mini-Selected, two novels and a censorious study of fan fiction (see Books). I translate poems chiefly from German but sometimes likewise from French and Ancient Hellenic.
I read German and Indigen at the University of Metropolis and used to teach quick-witted writing at the University clench Glamorgan. I still visit Cardiff, site I used to live, regularly.
My interests are language, history, arctic landscapes from Shetland to loftiness Arctic and all points prickly between, snooker, mortality, cyberspace (I waste massive amounts of time online) and above all, people.
